Today tour Old Delhi, drive past Red Fort and explore Jama Masjid India's largest mosque. Also enjoy a rickshaw ride through the main streets of silver street Chandni Chowk. Chandni Chowk has mishmash shops, temples, mosques and craftsmen's workshops. Then drive to New Delhi for visiting famous India Gate and the splendid Lutyens architecture of the government offices. Delhi - Agra (4.5 hours drive)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and drive from New Delhi to Agra for your overnight stay. Optionally on the way to Agra visit Bear Rescue foundation. The Agra Bear Rescue Facility is also known as ABRF and has come into existence with collaboration between the Wildlife SOS and Uttar Pradesh Forest Department. They were the first to give shelter to the rescue dancing bears in India. This was on the Christmas Eve 2002 that this project came into existence. With this collaborative project, age old practice of bear dance has come to an end to certain extent. Agra Fort Continue your drive to Agra. On arrival four kilometers from Agra is the tomb of Akbar known as Sikandra. Building of this attractive monument was started by Akbar himself but Akbar died before his catacomb could be completed and then his son Jehangir completed it. The monument gives a brilliant design as to how the Mughal art was developing. Later check in at Agra for your overnight stay.
In the morning go on for Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays). Constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan in reminiscence to his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, this is the definitive tribute to love ever transliterate in structural design. After captivating Taj Mahal photos in your camera visit Agra Fort. The high red stone monument stretches for around 2 1/2 km. Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (4 -5 hours drive)
Morning you will be driven to Jaipur, en-route visit Fatehpur Sikri, the abandoned capital of Akbar. Carry on your driving to Jaipur. In the evening enjoy light and sound show in Amer Fort which will be describing the tales of legends by the way of folklore and traditional music. Night stay is in Jaipur
Visit the Amber Fort, the past seat of the Rajput rulers of Jaipur, & Shiladevi temple, which persists to be the private temple of Royal family, with its superb marble carving and silver door. Continue to explore Jaipur, the famed "Pink City" and the Hawa Mahal, Palace of Winds.
