THE GOLDEN CHARIOT is named subsequent to the well-known Stone Chariot in Hampi, which is a world heritage site placed in Southern India and will tour all the way through eternal historical heritage sites, stunning palaces, flora and fauna and golden beaches.
7 Nights / 8 Days multicolored trip commences each Monday from Bangalore and passes through The Nagarhole National Park (Kabini), Mysore, stopover at Srirangapatna, Mysore Palace, and ongoing to the historical sites of Shravanabelagola, Belur & Halebidu – which is the 11th century structure of Hoysala architecture, with world heritage site Hampi and subsequently entering into heritage sites of Badami & Pattadakal and to conclude at the Golden Beaches of Goa before ending in Bangalore.

Day 1 - Bangalore

Bangalore -The capital of Karnataka is also famous as Garden City, for the reason that of its clean climate and greenery. It is believed that Kempegowda I, when he erected the new town (the current Bangalore) in about 1537, named it Bangalore. The city is exceptional with its rich edifying heritage that co-exists with its modern day technical and industrial accomplishment.

Day 2 - Kabini

The National Park of Nagarhole (Kabini), the hunting jungle of the Mysore Maharajas, is unquestionably the ideal destination for wildlife lovers in South India. The thrill starts with a safari into the centre of the park, where you are certain to mark the wild animals in their natural surroundings.

Bandipur:

Walk in to the pathway of the former Maharaja of Mysore with a stopover at Bandipur, about 80km south of Mysore on the Mysore-Ooty Road. The reserve is a playing field for natural world, with elephants captivating the lead role. Located next to the scenic backdrop of the enthralling Niligiri Mountains with its mist-covered peak, Bandipur was brought under Project Tiger in 1973. A temple on the brink atop Himad Gopalaswamy Hill, the uppermost peak in the Bandipur range, is worth a visit.

Day 2 - Kabini

Day 3 - Mysore (Wednesday)

Mysore, is always connected with the grand relations and their benefaction, be it the Wodeyars or Sultans. Mysore is a city known for its magnificent palaces and imposing buildings. This previous state capital still holds its convention in music and dance, sculpture, journalism and its time-honored technique.
Srirangapatna: Was the stronghold of the renowned combatant king Tipu Sultan is some km away from Mysore city. Within the fortification is Tipu's mosque with its identical twin minars, the Wellesley Bridge and the prison where British officers were once behind bars.

Day 3 - Mysore (Wednesday)

Day 4 - Hassan

Belur: A World of Worship

Belur which is in Hassan region is renowned for its magnificent Hoysala Temple. The Chennakesava Temple here is the main lure, constructed by Hoysala Vishnuvardhana, to memorialize his success over the Cholas.
The ruins of the temple are filled with complicated carvings with no section left vacant. It is the only Hoysala Temple still in lively worship.

Halebid

Halebid was once the capital of the Hoysalas which has one of the most excellent Hoysala temples. The Hoysaleswara Temple, hanging on a star-shaped base amidst lawns, is a sculpture burlesque.
The walls are luxuriantly engraved with a never-ending diversity of Hindu deities, sages, stylized animals and birds; illustrate the life of the Hoysala Kings.

Shravanabelagola

Shravanabelagola is a significant Jain pilgrim centre and is habitat to Asia biggest colossal statuette Lord Gomateswara here rises 58 ft., alarming atop the scenic Vindhyagiri Hill.

Day 4 - Hassan

09:00AMDepart for sightseeing to Shravanabelagola.
(Please note that you would have to climb close to 700 steps to experience the architectural marvel. Only those who can undertake this are advised to do so. Guests unwilling to experience can stay back on board The Golden Chariot.
Palanquins are available for those who cannot take the climb by themselves. This is available to the passengers at no extra cost).

Day 5 - Hampi

Hampi: A World Heritage Site

Hampi, the throne of the legendary Vijayanagara kingdom was the capital of the biggest kingdom in post-moghul India, wrapping numerous states. The Vijayanagara kingdom expanded three states -Karnataka, Maharashtra, & Andhra Pradesh. The devastation of Vijayanagar by prowling Moghul attackers was unexpected, dreadful and unconditional.
Even though in remains today, Hampi once possessed riches is also recognized far away from the seashores of India.
Secluded by the stormy river Tungabhadra in the north and rocky granite ridges on the other three sides, the ruins noiselessly describes the story of greatness splendor and tremendous prosperity.

Day 5 - Hampi

Day 6 - Badami

Badami is attractively located at the entrance of a gorge between two stony hills. The superb sculpture and the rust red sandstone cliffs of Badami notify a tale of yore. The first sculptural embossing to dazzle the eye is the 18 armed Nataraja striking 81 dance poses.

But Goa is much extra than just beaches and sea. The likely beauty, the magnificent beaches and sunshine, travellers to Goa love the careless, warm and gracious life of the Goan people.

Day 7 - Goa

11:00AM:Visit the famous churches of old Goa
12:15PM:Visit an old Portuguese house: Sola Souto Maior for tea/coffee and cookies; shopping at the emporium

03:00PM: An Ayurvedic massage, a visit to the casino, a dip in the pool / beach, etc. (Ayurvedic massage and casino charges extra as applicable)
