India Forts Palaces Tour
Duration:- 12 Nights - 13 Days
Destinations Covered:- Delhi - Neemrana - Samode - Jaipur - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Nimaj - Ranakpur - Udaipur - Delhi
Day 1 Delhi
On arrival at Mumbai airdrome you will be met and will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2 Delhi
Morning city tour starts with Old Delhi tour visiting the imperial Red Fort, a phenomenon in red sedimentary rock, Jama Masjid which is one of the gigantic mosques in Asia, both constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan, and visit Rajghat - which is built to give tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Continue your visit to New Delhi which has Presidents House -once the home of British delegates. Also drive past through India Gate, a memento raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; Humayun's Tomb - world heritage site and lastly Qutub Minar, created by Qutub-ud-din Aibek.
Day 3 Delhi to Neemrana
After sumptuous breakfast leave for Neemrana Fort which is famed for its chronological significance. Constructed in 1464 by the great ruler Prithviraj Chauhan (third), Neemrana fort jogs your memory to the grandeur of a past period. This fort is situated on a flat terrain. Neemrana Fort is stretched on 25 acres of land and gives a view of the dazzling semi-desert plains. Within the Neemrana Fort, visit the step well renowned as Raj Kund, constructed in the 15th century.
Day 4 Neemrana to Samode
After breakfast drive to Samode which is another pearl in Inconceivable Palace & Forts itinerary. Samode was constructed by economics minister of Maharaja of Jaipur, Jai Singh. Samode is located in Shekhawati region. Samode Palace is sated with its Shekhawati style paintings. The chief appealing building of the Samode Palace is its glorious 300-year-old Durbar Hall made of latticework. Fort is on the peak of the palace. Take 300 steps to see it. Constructed in sixteenth century, the Samode Palace was Amber ruler Prithviraj Singhji's gift to one of his sons. Blemished glass windows, frescoes-adorned staircases, intricately carved walls and painted ceilings make the palace look splendid.
Day 5 Samode to Jaipur
In the morning drive to Jaipur and take an excursion tour to visit Amber fort where you will experience the Elephant ride to visit Amber Palace. Later visitation continues to Observatory (Jantar Mantar) which is one of the biggest observatories constructed by Sawai Jai Singh. Also visit City Palace which is famous for Rajasthani style and architecture, and have photo shoot stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Return back to your hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 6 Jaipur to Bikaner (By train)
Morning will be at leisure. Later check out from your hotel and drive to Jaipur railway station to board the train for Bikaner. On arrival at Bikaner you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 7 Bikaner to Jaisalmer
Today morning visit another beautiful, scenic place which is known as Bikaner. Bikaner is world famous for its Camel Breeding Farm, Junagarh Fort – which has never been captured, stunning Lalgarh Palace a combination of Mughal and Rajput manner. Other attractions of Bikaner tour are Deshnok Temple and Gajner Palace. Later drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer for your overnight stay.
Day 8 Jaisalmer
After sumptuous breakfast your Jaisalamer sightseeing covers Jaisalmer Fort - erected on the uppermost peak of the Tricuta hill, consisting of 99 defenders. Exceptional features are Megh Durbar & different temples and Jaisalmer Haveli like Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon-Ki-Haveli - some of the beautiful houses with stone figurine and latticework of breath taking intricacy. Later return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9 Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur. On arrival visit Clock Tower and Ummeid Bhawan Palace, a magnificent palace structure which presently functions as a hotel and palace. In the dusk you may opt to feast at on the rocks an open garden restaurant serving ethnic food with live music and folk dance show Overnight at Jodhpur.
Day 10 Jodhpur to Nimaj
On your onset at Jodhpur visit famous Meharangarh Fort which is still invincible. This fort is located at an elevation of 125 meters and is stretched in the area of 5 sq/ km, with 7 gates in the fort. Continue your visitation to Jaswant Thada –a white marble commemorative built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh. After wards drive to Nimaj Chhatra Sagar. Encircled by thriving green countryside of wheat, mustard, cotton and vast grazing fields, this resort is a nature-lover’s shelter. Gaze at the birds that gather at the dam from the comfort of your tent, or just set out on a nature walk on this Rajasthan campsite trip. The evenings are held in reserve for comfortable bonfires and traditional Rajasthani food beneath the star-lit sky.
Day 11 Nimaj to Ranakpur to Udaipur
After breakfast visit Nimaj Palace and then leave for Udaipur. Enroute visit Ranakpur . Ranakpur, which is famous for Jain temples, built in 12 century. This temple is built of marbles 108 impressed marble pillars, each different from others performing a marvelous architecture of Jainism. If you want a lunch then you can opt at Maharani Baugh Palace On arrival at Udaipur you will be transfer to your hotel. Refresh and relax. Evening is free to roam in narrow lanes of Udaipur City.
Day 12 Udaipur
Later visit City Palace which commands a view of Lake Pichola. The City Palace consists of Palace Museum, Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery and Jagdish Temple. Continue your visitation to Saheli Ki Bari which was built for Royal Ladies of Udaipur. In the late afternoon you can enjoy boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight in Udaipur.
Day 13 Udaipur to Delhi/ UK / Europe
In the morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur airport to board your flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you will be transferred to International airport for your flight to onwards journey.
