Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Arrive at Delhi airport and you will be Delhi airport hotel for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Delhi / Leh (By flight)

Morning board flight for Leh. On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and escort you to Hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization which is 3500 Mtrs above sea level. In the evening purchase some local handicrafts work from Leh Market overnight in Hotel.

Day 3: Leh- Monasteries Tour

From Leh you will have excursion to the famous Leh monasteries, it is fascinating to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying Ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery it is the most famous monasteries of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace, overnight in Hotel.

Day 4: Leh – Monasteries

On day 3 of Leh Monastery tour enjoy half day tour of Spituk and explore Phyang monastery. After lunch visit Kings Palace, Leh Mosque, Leh Gompa, Shankar Gompa and Leh Markets overnight in Hotel.

Day 5: Leh – Khardongla Pass – Leh

Day 4 of Leh Monastery tour is very exciting one as you will be taken to excursion of Khardongla pass and is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 Mtrs. This motorable pass has been recorded in the Guineas Book of world Records, at the topmost point get pleasure from the beauty of snow capped mountains. In the afternoon return back to the Hotel, Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Leh – Alchi 72 Kms

Today depart for Alchi monastery known as Alchi Choskor is the only monastery in the Ladakh on flat ground. On the way visit Bazgo Castle lie. By the lunch time you will reach Alchi and visit the Alchi monastery. Discover the natural beauty of Alchi village, overnight at Guest House or hotel.

Day 7: Alchi – Lamayuru - Leh 168 Kms

Continue your drive to Lamayuru via Khaltsi. From here another 22 Km drive will take us to Lamayuru. You will visit the oldest and amazingly located Lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th century, visit the monastery. Drive back to Leh, overnight at Hotel.

Day 8: Leh – Stok Palace

Morning visit Stok Palace, this palace was built by King Tsepal Tondup Namgyal in 1825. On the way back visit the Choglamsar village (the Tibetan refugee Camp) which is illustrious for Tibetan Culture, History and Buddhism, Afternoon is for individual activities. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 9: Leh – Delhi

In the morning you will be transfer to Leh airport to board the flight for Delhi. On arrival at Delhi you will be transferred to Delhi International airport to board the flight for onwards journey. Tour concludes with happy memories of Leh Monasteries Tour.
