Day 1: Mumbai / Delhi / Agra

On your Mumbai Agra day one tour board your flight for Delhi which leaves Mumbai around 0700 hours for Delhi. The flight will take about 2 hour’s time from Mumbai to Delhi and will reach Delhi at 0900 hrs. On arrival at New Delhi airport you will be met and will be transferred to air conditioned luxury car which will take you to Agra.

Delhi to Agra distance is 205 km and will take 3.5 hours to reach the city of Taj. (Before planning your travel dates make sure that the day is not Friday as Taj Mahal is closed on this particular day) On the way have some light brunch at Indian restaurant. After refreshing yourself you’re English speaking chauffeur will continue the journey to the city of love “Agra”. On the way visit Sikandra - Tomb of Akbar the Great is a significant architectural in Sikandra a hamlet of Agra. The third Mughal Emperor Akbar, himself started its creation in around 1600, to commence the building of one's tomb during one's life span. Akbar himself designed his own mausoleum. After his death, Akbar's son Jahangir finished the construction in the years 1605-1613.

After visitation to Sikandra continue your drive to Agra on your special Mumbai Agra Tour. Your next stop will be at Agra Fort which was built by Akbar. This fort is built along the river Yamuna with several buildings inside. In the fort there are many places where you can get an insight of Mughals livelihood. Evening is free for relaxation or you can enjoy spa at your hotel. Overnight stay is in Agra hotel.

Day 2: Agra / Delhi / Mumbai

On your Mumbai Agra second day tour drive in early morning hours to visit unmatched “Taj Mahal India” and see Taj changing its vibrant color at the crack of dawn. Taj Mahal constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of his much loved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The Taj Mahal became a World Heritage Site and was quoted as "the gemstone of Muslim art in India and one of the unanimously admired masterpieces of the world's heritage." The building of the tomb started in 1631 when Mumtaz Mahal died while giving birth to Shahjahan's 14th child and was finished in 1653.

A superb construction in white marble, the Taj Mahal is illustrious for its architectural splendor and artistic beauty. A local draftsman, Ustad Ahmad Lahori, planned this utmost temple of love located between the tranquil ambiences of fine arranged gardens. The mausoleum stands at one end of the garden loveliness with fountains and marble streets. The garden encloses four water waterways to resonance the four rivers of the Islamic ecstasy.

After visiting Taj Mahal drive back to your hotel for breakfast. Later check out from your Agra accommodation and drive back to Delhi. Or if you want then you can visit famous markets of Agra as the city of Taj is famous for its marble work, rugs, brass work etc. On arrival at Delhi, you will be transferred to Delhi airport to board the flight for Mumbai thus ending Taj Mahal tours from Mumbai or Mumbai Taj Mahal tour with sweet memories.
